YOUTH

Our ministry with youth invites them to share in the experience of living God’s grace.
They encourage one another to a deeper commitment in and understanding of their personal relationship with God.
The youth at First United Methodist Church are helping to transform the world through their compassion and mission, as well as having great fun in a Christian environment.

Youth Schedule

Jr. & Sr. High Youth
(6th – 12th graders):

Sunday School meets downstairs in the Youth Room at 10:45 am. Katie McQuitty is the Sunday School teacher for the youth class

On the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month, UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) meets at 4 pm for a time of fun, fellowship and devotion.

On the last weekend of the month, the youth group gathers for a fun activity that they have chosen and planned; examples from recent months are rock wall climbing, bowling, and paint ball.

During the summer, we offer opportunities for camp, mission trips and more fellowship opportunities.
